“Gate” is a horror story about a young boy named Glen (Stephen Dorff) and his friend Terry (Louis Tripp) discover a hole left over from when a tree had been struck by lightning the night before and then removed. The hole is deep and seemingly runs on forever. When Glen’s dog dies, his friend, Alexandra (Christa Denton) buries the deceased pet in the hole out back and causes a chain reaction in the neither world. Now creatures from another hellish dimension want out and seek humans to sacrifice to whatever dark God they worship. Now the three teenagers find themselves left alone for a weekend with horrific things going on around them they find that they are the only ones who stand between their world and these demonic forces.
