Jake (Ronnie Schell) is no ordinary cat, he is the "Cat From Outer Space," as the title of this movie indicates! When Jake's spaceship crashes on Earth, its taken by the United States government. Jake finds some humans to help him, Dr. Frank Wilson (Ken Berry) and Dr. Liz Bartlett (Sandy Duncan). Jake must find a way to get to his ship, fix it, and make his way back to his home planet, but without Frank and Liz's help, there is no guarantee Jake can make this happen. Once Frank is convinced of Jake's situation and agrees to help, they have to convince Liz, then the adventure really begins!
